This was a busy weekend for me. Friday I met up with some friends, and we went to a few bars in Deep Elm. At the end of the night, we ended up walking back to Downtown Dallas from Deep Elm, and that was a long walk in HEELS. Saturday I went to brunch with a friend and came home and did some work. I am working an offer for a client, and I had some things I needed to get done to get the contract executed that afternoon. Later that night, Keller Williams had volunteered 30 of us to work a beer booth at Mainstreet Days in Grapevine. It was a little chilly during my shift, which made the crowd a little slim, and us not very busy. After my shift was over I went to help my friend celebrate graduating from Grad school. Once we were done visiting with her family and friends, we then headed out to Uptown where we met up with a few more of our friends. We went to a few different bars and stayed out way too late :) On Sunday, I found a new tradition that I'm going to make happen every week. There is a sushi place in Uptown called GUI that has happy hour till 9. The HH consists of ALL YOU CAN EAT sushi for $20/ person and Saki is included in that price. We were there from 7:30-11 last night eating sushi! We ordered over 9 different rolls, and I loved them all. My favorite from the night was either the Dragon roll or the Spider roll. If you are a sushi lover, you would really enjoy this. GUI has this happy hour on Tuesdays and Sundays. GO eat some sushi!

Introduction of who I am~

This is my first time blogging, and I am very excited about sharing my adventures of life with you. I am from Tennessee, graduated college from Mississippi State in December of 07, moved to New York for 2 months, then finally made the big move to Dallas, Tx in April of last year. I've lived here over a year and love it. I have an aunt and uncle that live here, and they are one of the reasons I chose Dallas. It was a leap of faith packing up and leaving my family and friends behind and moving to a place 9 hours from home. There are so many opportunities here in Dallas than in the small town where I am from. I've found the job of my dreams, and I love what I do. I work 24/7, 7 days a week but it does not ever feel like work. I am in Residential Real Estate and work with Keller Williams Realty. Keller Williams is number 3 in the Nation, and we are known for our Win Win philosophy. I have a family in my Keller Williams office that are behind me, supporting me ever step that I take. My grandmother has been a Realtor for 30 years in Tennessee, so I've grown up around Real Estate and have always wanted to get into the business...now here I am! I work all over the DFW metroplex helping people sell their homes and buy a new house. I frequently have Open Houses on Saturday and Sunday to market my homes that are listed. I also do a lot of referral work with other agents in different States. Since Keller Williams is Nationwide, I have had a chance to get to know many other agents from all over the U.S. I just referred my aunt and uncle to an agent in Denver, Colorado. They are looking for a condo out there to be closer to their daughter. I was able to find them an excellent agent out in Denver who will take great care of them.

I will be keeping you updated on not only what is going on in my Real Estate business, but also my personal life. It can get a little crazy at times...but I am always out and about doing something fun and entertaining and would love to share my adventures with you!
